It's official.
We got our plane tickets on Saturday. On August 24th we will be flying from Seattle to Los Angeles to San Antonio to Washington, D.C. to Rio de Janeiro, phew! That's a lot of flight changes. We will stay a few days in Rio then head up to my mission, Natal and João Pessoa. We'll go back to Salt Lake City on September 14. Then we will move our stuff out to California and I start working on September 29.
I'm really excited!

Whoa! That's exciting--congrats guys! I mean, in all honesty I wish I could go too but that's not going to be happeneing. And I'd wish you luck and tell you to have fun but it's still a long ways away so I'll hold off on that one...
ReplyDeletequestion. is there some rule you have to fly over all of the 48 continental United States before you leave?
ReplyDeleteActually, there is this weird rule about landing in at least 3 other states before leaving the country! How'd you know...
ReplyDeleteJK!!!!
Anyhow, I'm super excited too and counting on Jordan's Portuguese language skills to get us everywhere. Granted, I may try to through in some Spanish here and there and hope to get a response :P
The flights to Brazil leave from about five airports that I know of, Orlando, Atlanta, New York, Chicago, and DC. United just likes to make us take the long way to get there. Especially since we were using miles.
