Jackson is Home!!!

After almost three weeks in the hospital Jackson came home today! Christina and I are very excited for this. Some may think it's nice to have a baby-sitter all the time, but it's a little stressful going back and forth to the hospital all of the time and not knowing when he's going to come home. Plus, you never know which nurse will be watching him. And we really liked several of the nurses at Stanford, others not as much. He was in the NICU up until last Wednesday, at which time he was moved to the Intermediate Care Nursery. In general, we liked the NICU nurses better, but there were some good ones in both.

This outfit is the first one that Christina and I picked out for him after finding out he was a boy.

Jackson's been through a lot the last few weeks with IV's then feeding tubes. We're glad to have him back with us. I really like the face he's making in this one.

We've heard mixed reactions about who he looks like. At the beginning most people said he looks "just like Christina!" Now more people have been telling me he looks a lot like me. 

We've been grateful to have the help of Christina's mom the last week as I returned to work. I plan to take more time off in about two weeks in order to spend time at home with Jackson and help out.

For now he is nice and cozy in his new place.
