Differences between Brazil and the USA

For good or bad there are a few differences between Brazil. Here are some that we have experienced:

~I am scared for my life whenever I'm on the road. Especially in Rio. Lanes don't really exist. People just kind of zoom in and out of places. I'm glad we didn't rent a car.
~Sunblock is really expensive. Today we paid 33 Brazilian Reais, or $20 for 50 SPF. If I had remembered how expensive it is I would have bought extra in the US for $7-8.
~The people are really friendly. They are also a lot more blunt than Americans. At least 3 people have told me I look fatter than on my mission. But they've all said how beautiful Christina is, which is definitely true.
~They have a lot of tasty fresh juices. My favorite is pineapple juice. Christina likes acerola juice (as far as I know it doesn't exist in America and it contains 32x the amount of Vitamin C as orange juice--look it up if you don't believe me).
~The beaches have really white sand and have much warmer water than Washington.
